Every child deserves the chance to learn in a safe, healthy, and inspiring classroom. Yet for many children in Chiponde Village, that opportunity is limited by learning spaces that are no longer safe.

At Hope-Spark, we believe lasting change happens when communities and partners come together. Over the past weeks, we have been working hand in hand with community leaders and the school committee to find practical, sustainable ways of transforming these classrooms using the resources that are already available locally.

The response from the community has been incredible. Families have generously contributed their time, labour, and locally available materials such as sand, demonstrating that they are fully invested in their children’s future.

Now, the renovation is underway—but there is still more to be done. Community commitment has laid a strong foundation, and with the support of generous donors and partners, we can complete this transformation and provide children with the learning environment they deserve.

This is more than renovating a classroom. It is restoring hope, protecting children’s futures, and investing in the next generation.
