Sparking Hope at Maula Prison

Team Hope-Spark was today at Maula Prison to spark hope and encouragement in the lives of the inmates.

During our visit, we were greatly inspired by the rehabilitation work taking place at the facility. One remarkable initiative is the prison school, which provides an opportunity for inmates who are willing to continue their education to study from Standard 5 all the way to Form 4.

As part of Hope-Spark’s commitment to education and restoring dignity, we donated learning materials to support the school and provided some basic necessities to a number of the prisoners.

We believe that every person deserves a second chance, and education remains one of the most powerful tools for transformation and rebuilding lives.
